Do I need to commit to a minimum number of sessions?
No, you don’t need to commit to a minimum number of sessions. Trainers can accept as many or as few athletes as they want. However, we do recommend being clear with athletes about your availability to help manage expectations.
Can I set my own rates and availability?
Yes, trainers have full control over their rates and schedules. You can adjust your availability and set the prices that reflect your expertise and the type of training you offer.
How do I connect with athletes?
Once you’ve set up your profile and verified your background, athletes will be able to find you through the platform. You’ll be able to browse athletes’ profiles, see their goals, and reach out to potential clients. Athletes can also book sessions directly with you through the platform.
What happens if an athlete cancels a session?
Each trainer sets their own cancellation policy. You’ll be notified of cancellations or reschedules, and the platform allows you to manage these situations according to the terms you’ve outlined in your profile.
How do I track my athlete’s progress?
Athlete Connect includes tools for trainers to document session notes, set goals, and track athletes’ progress. You can input information after each session to keep track of how well your athlete is progressing toward their goals.
What qualifications do I need to become a trainer?
Trainers must have verifiable credentials in their specific sport or field. We recommend certifications or experience in coaching, personal training, or specific sport-related training. We also require a background check as part of the verification process to ensure the safety of all users.
